If all the Blazers in football were chucked the whole game would be better from FIFA to County level.

A certain County F.A who got their youth teams switched from the East Midlands to the South West even though it meant far longer journeys but a few weekends away. At the AGM it was asked why a full 53 seater coach had gone to Cornwall for the weekend and all it's occupants were afforded a stay in a hotel just for a county youth match. Ball number 9 where are you.

Can't see that bothering them but if Coca-Cola, Budweiser and the rest of
FIFA's little helpers started to make waves, then shit may well happen.

And of course there are the countries themselves - Brazil, Germany, England
and Spain - to name a few - could threaten to breakaway but one wonders
how deep in the trough, are the snouts of each individual association.

If Russia lose the next World Cup, will we see El Salvador v Honduras 2, with
MadVlad losing it and invading somebody - it's a funny old world so who knows?

Excerpt from Blatter statement...

Let me be clear: such misconduct has no place in football and we will ensure that those
who engage in it are put out of the game. Following the events of today, the independent
Ethics Committee – which is in the midst of its own proceedings regarding the awarding
of the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cups - took swift action to provisionally ban those individuals
named by the authorities from any football-related activities at the national and international level.
These actions are on top of similar steps that FIFA has taken over the past year to exclude any
members who violate our own Code of Ethics.

Now that could well come back to bite him on the arse...

South African government now alleged to have paid $10m
for votes leading up to 2010 World Cup.

This is all getting messier by the minute and although nobody
has been convicted thus far, I bet there's a lot of people on the
periphery shitting themselves tonight as the waves fan out.

Can't wait to see Blatter's sorry arse dragged across the Pond,
then deemed a flight risk before spending 18 months on remand
in Riker's Island.

Which is code for UEFA saying that Blatter will still win the election despite Sodom and Gomorrah collapsing around him. It says much for the quality of the other candidate and the morality of the electorate.

The trouble is countries like the Cook Islands have an equal vote to countries like Germany. There are more Cook Island type countries in FIFA than Germany type countries & Blatter has looked after there officials. If UEFA threatened on mass to boycott the next WC, then we might see Blatter walk!

Threatening to boycott is one thing actually going ahead with it is another, Blatter may be many things but a fool is not one of them and I think he may well call UEFA bluff if it was mentioned.

It all hinges on if the FBI have anything on Blatter, some say they have as allegedly money was passed through his Bank Account to make an illegal payment to Joao Havelange.

Think it relates to this case

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/...ared-misconduct.html

some chap on the BBC yesterday more information is now available implicating him more.

Having seen the American people last night on TV they were very diplomatic but there were big hints far more was to come. Think they might like to get him when he is in the Americas maybe at the Women's World Cup in Canada, would make good TV and be at a time when the USA was watching live.

The FBI would surely have had Blatter arrested if they had enough evidence now. The extradition process will be interesting, but could take a long time. No doubt the Feds are hoping those arrested now will give evidence against Blatter in the same way as Darryl and Daryan Warner, Charles Blazer, Jose Hawilla and Traffic Sports have already pleaded guilty and given evidence.

I think Jack Warner would have been surprised that he was arrested in Trinidad & Tobago. I wonder if his friends (in local politics) are now deserting him (as Blatter did four years ago) which would lead to his extradition actually going through.

I was a tad confused re the Warners as early in the day
it was said that all three had decided to plead guilty but
I read later on that the old man totally refuted all charges,
with the God card getting pulled out as he vowed to clear
his 'somewhat already tarnished' name.

That's why I wondered if they were waiting as it's easier if you get him in Canada than Switzerland. The bloke called Walter said Blatter had no reason to change his travel plans and would still go to Canada.

Not the least chance. Sponsors make money out of the World Cup. They are not going to throw money away on a matter of principle.
