Aside from sport it's about the only thing Mrs UKPunk and I watch at the moment. In my opinion the remainder of the programming schedule is, with rare exceptions, utter dross.

The series would have passed me by had it not been for my eldest daughter telling me she thought it would be a drama I'd like. She was right.

Missed the first series so shall await its arrival on BT Vision.

Didn't see that coming at the end of the Killing III on Saturday night...
leaves the door open I suppose for another series although
that was supposed to be the last. We shall see.

All these American TV series increasingly look the same to me. The only one I have ever bothered watching is the original Star Trek because it was so different from anything before or since. Even so, some episodes were very poorly written and acted.

Homeland is superb. Second only to Breaking bad IMO. And the guy who plays David Estes is from Birmingham and was a very promising youth footballer

Bring back TJ Hooker and McCloud. They didn't stand for any old nonsense.

Borgen was alrght but couldn't quite take to her as she was
way too left of my political spectrum.

Scrubbed up well in enough, in a schoolboy thinking of his sexy aunt
kind of way, under the duvet during his formative years.

Thought the Bridge was good too...the nutty blonde copper was the kind
of bird we all dreamt of meeting in a pub but rarely did.

Is it mandatory for all Scandanavian thrillers to embroil themselves in politics?

I've stayed in that boozer outside Dovercourt station a couple

been on the guest list before writing 'To the Devil, a Daughter'.

No spoilers - got five to catch up on - well according to wife - find it a bit drawn out myself. Still nice to see that an English ginner like me can't be cast as an American Islamic terrorist. OR IS HE?

Out of interest on the subject of TV series; has anyone seen Game of Thrones? Someone recommended it to be but I'm not sure if I will take a punt and order the DVD box set with some Christmas money.

Had never heard of this one. Got some decent reviews though.
Currently filming series three. HBO produce some odd ball
stuff so I await the early seasons to turn up on BT Vision
sometime early next year.

It gets brilliant reviews on Amazon; only thing is its apparently like the Lord of the Rings films in terms of a really well-created fantasy world, and great acting; but just tonnes more gore and sex Shocked
