I'll tell you what Dawn, Dave, Derek, Kevin, Brian or Barry or whatever your name is hows about this. Whilst I think you are clearly a wind up merchant there are some very good people involved with the Beckett League and the associated clubs and I can't help but feel that your continued postings on here are only giving the league a bad name. So against my better judgement and even though I could not care less why don't you list your questions (numbered please, makes it easier) and I shall answer them all on here publicly one by one and put an end to the madness. Two stipulations though, firstly no more than 5 questions (as this is quite boring and there are much, much, much better things to be doing with one's time) and secondly you need to get them on here before 8.30 as after that I will be out and definitely not on here debating things with you. Also don't ask me to go through your previous posts and read them again and respond to each point as I honestly cannot be bothered, to be completely honest I hardly even read them the first time round.

i repeat that i have no axe to grind with you, it is just the administration of the league rules need to be adhered too!

As i said before, there is no agitator, no official complaint, you have nothing, all wind and water Fiddleford.

As i said before i knew the answers to the questions before i asked them.

This looks to have ended just as i anticipated, nothing proven other than the beckett league rules prevented fiddleford and his team from entering the league half way through the season.

You're asking the wrong person Dean, it's me that knows who went straight to the North Riding so you should be asking me the questions. But basically until you own up as to who you are you can keep posting till your blue in the face matey as to who it was and where the information came from. All Fiddleford did was apply to put a team in the league so why you keep having a go at him god only knows. When he posted that his team had been accepted into the league it wasn't because he'd f**king dreamt it it was because the league told him he had been voted in by the committee. As for saying it wasn't you Darren that went to the North Riding, who knows, like I say you tell us who you are and I'll tell you if it was you or not?

some might say that you have never had anything to do with the beckett league at anytime before as you were never admitted into it, but that did not stop you previously from shooting off at the lip about the league rules did it now, so why the change in attitude now?

as far as i am concerned this matter is now closed as you have proved to me beyond doubt that no complaint has been made and the only agitator in this dispute has been you fiddleford right from the start.

What is wrong with you and your mate, you don't back up your claims and you then try to deflect away from the issue by claiming me to be someone else, you must really hate the thought of a woman putting you in your place. Don't say it out loud or you might be tagged as a sexist.

As for your comment about how we would have brought nothing to the Beckett League (apart from pesky townies from Hull, York and Doncaster - probably thought they were all on a trip to Flamingo Land only to find out they've been duped into playing right back in a Beckett League Second Division match - aarrrgghhh dagnamit my evil master plan has been foiled). Well I'm so upset about that I should probably just kill myself but I'm a Scotsman and therefore hold out some hope of getting those three pints for free so I'll wait and see how this plays out.

let me correct you a little on points of fact, the League never told fiddleford anything, it was the league management committee including the league secretary that made the decision after ignoring the league rules that prevented such a decision being made. Fiddleford claimed he had a copy of the rules all along and he confirmed the rules supported this decision and get this, this was claimed to have been supported by the league secretary and the top man at the north riding fa. Still makes me laugh. Let me educate you on the finer points here, the league management committee and secretary have agreed to be the administrators of the league on behalf of the league clubs from season to season. What i believe has occurred is that the league secretary has realised later that the league rules do not permit any club entering the league after the commencement of the season and he himself has informed fiddleford of the mistake he and the league management committee made.

Now, i don't understand why you keep claiming someone went to the north riding fa because i said before it was not me and i stand by that, and this claim has never been validated at any point, so it is just insinuation on your part that such a complaint had to have been made.
Fiddleford claimed previously that an official complaint was made, i have tried but in vain to get him to validate this claim, but to date he has not provided any details , so it is fair to state no complaint has been made. fiddleford on his past posts would be shouting this from the roof tops if he knew anything!
I have no problem with fiddleford not providing any substance to his claims, because as i said before, he has nothing to post.

Mozza, you have claimed you have this information but are not prepared to post it, well, that speaks volumes.
Any name you think you have that made this alleged complaint is fabricated either by you or by whoever passed the name onto you!
As i said before, no complaint has been made and any information you think you possess is in fact NOTHING.
You can keep everyone on here thinking you know more than you are telling but you are just conning everyone, and yourself just like fiddleford.

if a complaint has been made, this will be made available to everyone later at a beckett league meeting whenever that is, then and only then will the truth be available for anyone to post on here.
Now, what i will find extremely amusing is if the following occurs, NO complaint has ever been made and everyone then realises fiddleford and yourself made this all up to cover up your embarrassment of not being in the league. I am laughing already.

mozza, i guess you just don't fully understand the concept of internet forums and usernames etc.

You are just like fiddleford, you are intentionally diverting away from the issue here, it is of no relevance to this issue of what i have to do with the beckett league, none whatsoever, and seeing as fiddleford has never had anything to do with the beckett league i find you to be the one acting in an hypoctical manner. If you are only prepared to discuss this issue with people connected to the beckett league than what the hell are you doing posting on this excellent forum?

So mozza, don't try to use me as your excuse for failing to post what you claim to know on here because the longer this continues without the claim being validated only goes to confirm that the claim of an official complaint being made has always been a fabrication.

Mozza there is a distinct difference between 'what you actually know' and 'what you think you know'.

Mozza, you clearly can not substantiate the claim of a complaint being made otherwise you would have done so by now.

I would say that this issue is closed now because again the anonymous person who claims to hold vital information is not prepared to post it for all to see.
So, fiddleford and mozza, your claim is UNFOUNDED, it is fair for me to say i am 100% sure of this from what you have both posted, so live with it!

So you both can bitch on all you like, but until you both grow a pair and validate your claim of an official complaint being made nobody has any reason to believe you!

ps, if you want you and fiddleford can enter my fantasy football team so tell me your positions and i'll see if i can find a space for you both. i don't hnow how you have come to that conclusion as all i have asked is for fiddleford and mozza to provide details of this alleged complaint that has been made.
What i have confirmed is that people use these forums to make claims that they then cannot justify when given numerous occasions to do so.

The beckett league is fine and is better off without truning itself into a mickey mouse leave by allowing a team to enter it halfway through a season.
The dameage this would have done is enormous and it would have set a precedent that could have seen the same thing occurring year after year.

All that has been done bring to everyones attention that league rules are there for a reason and have to be used and should not be ignored when individuals feel the need to force decisions onto clubs without there agreement or knowledge.

This never had anything to do with egos as you put it, it is about doing what is right, and the league voted for the league rules at the AGM and therefore these rules have to be administered correctly.

If you disagree with this then thats ok with me because everyone is welcome to having there own opinions.
I have always found that clubs use the rules to their advantage when possible and rightly so. So when fiddleford and his team were provided with a night fixture later on in the season after the clocks changed and they this was their Home fixture and he decided to play this game Hull side of Driffield or Bridlington, or Market Weighton, or Pocklington and KO was 6.15pm, how many players would the away team be able to get there in time for KO coming from say Pickering or Malton. What would the consequences be if they refused to play, how would the league management committee discipline this team. this is just 1 little scenario that has been over looked, or has it, are the league management committee not interested in any excuses by teams on failing to raise a team to travel 30 -60 miles to play a night match. there are many more little scenarios that could occur that are not covered by the league rules and all conflicts can only be judged by the rules, otherwise all management committee decisions are open to be appealled against directly to the north riding FA.

So, Robgrillo, the league rules serve a specific purpose, and have to be adhered too otherwise you have anarchy and the league falls into tumoill and then the north riding fa are forced to step in and make any changes necessary or even disband the league entirely. That is fact and that can never be allowed to occur and in order to prevent such action being taken by the north riding fa it is down to the league rules being administered correctly.

So no egos here, just common sense decision making looking after the present and future well-being of the beckett league.
