Bangor Spoons on Wednesday.

Excellent on so many levels

1. Open the doors and you're at the bar straight away
2. Gents Loo's on ground floor. (always amazes me why they put them up so many flights of stairs)
3. Beer was kept in excellent condition and the staff knew what they were talking about
4. 2 minutes walk to the ground and once the emergency exits were opened at the end of the game less than 30 seconds away afterwards!

Anyone with any queries or need any help planning a trip to Fareham Town FC - give me a bell.

Any pre 1979-80 Fareham Town programmes wanted plus any further memorabilia/press etc.

Check out the clubs twitter page at www.twitter.com/farehamtownfc

Bloody hell Gareth a new one opened in N Ireland ? Not.
Here is a list/description of the North of Irelands Spoons, been given before ! Up to date Nov 13,2011.
Save it !
Surprised with your love of Fosters you don't have the Spoons booklet with all mentioned and new ones planned !

We called in the lloyds var in Corby last week prior to the game.
First Wetherspoons new-build that I can recall - and much more spacious inside than usual as well.

Not bad for general knowledge quizzes either - e.g . who designed/built Leeds Town Hall? - Cuthbert Brodrick.
Not sure about Woodrow Wilson's link with Carlisle.

In Brighton there's such a range of wonderful eclectic pubs that I can't imagine why you'd want to spend time in a Wetherspoons. I tend to pop in when it's the pub of last resort in a place that's otherwise a real ale desert.

Some people might cheat though if they have got the Wetherspoons Directory (Shed Book). Or update from the website.

I'm occasionally to be found in there on a Saturday evening while waiting for my train. As you say, it's always well populated, especially by some very pretty young ladies. Wink

This is the only one I've been in (I may have already said that on this thread?).
I'd never heard of Miss Shilling before I went there but her orifice was quite important to the war effort. http://en.wikipedia.org/...Shilling%27s_orifice

Full credit to whoever decides the names of Wetherspoons pubs as they must do some serious research. No-one I know in Camberley had heard of Claude Duval (Du Vall / Du Val?) until Wetherspoons named their pub after him.
