Don't do it! There's some fantastic stuff out there. Delain are touring next month, with their new album out in June. You know it makes sense!

I know there are a few out there who like the European female-fronted goth rock scene who may be interested that tickets went on sale today for Italian rockers Lacuna Coil's 5-date UK tour in October. Daugter and I, as well as villahopper booked into Wolverhampton.

Rant alert!
I've just had the misfortune of hearing You Me At Six for the first time. They're from Weybridge but have that annoying habit of singing in American, at least in the half a track I could bear to listen to. People from Weybridge sound like Sir Cliff, not Tom DeLonge.
Speaking of which, YMA6 are allegedly influenced by Blink 182. Maybe that's what wrong with them. How can anyone be influenced by them? I can hack Green Day and many of the other pop-punk bands but Blink 182 are unimaginative and puerile, and not in a funny way. Any band that's influenced by them should be avoided unless that band is influenced into doing the complete opposite.
Having said that, Blink's drummer, Travis Barker is actually quite good. When he plays in a decent band it shows so I'm now listening to his other band, The Transplants, doing Diamond And Guns to remind myself some of the people in this 'scene' can churn out some half decent stuff when they try.
