Chelsea Transfer Target

As there are no special offers to get from Portsmouth-London on trains and rarely on coaches I would need to add £25 to the price
I've said the same about Oxford even with numerous split ticketing fares seem ridiculous high and no where as cheap as some of the offers banded about on here. The only exception being the odd Chilton promotion which tends to limit you to London or Brum the latter using a strange route.
People tell me about Mega Bus but again when I have a gander no offers around these parts.
The Megabus website has a single ticket for sale from Oxford (Randolph Hotel) to Portsmouth (The Hard) for Monday 25th September for £3 that I might well book myself. Says the journey time is just over two and a half hours, which is actually slightly faster than it normally takes me by train, what with me usually having to wait at Guildford for forty minutes or so.
I've never used Megabus before, so quite fancy giving them a go.
